I decided to be cool and go local instead of going to Wendy's right beside it. Had their signature burger combo, and it was great. The mushrooms tasted great, and the burger was great too. Their fries were a bit over cooked, but nice size and crunch. Customer service through the drive-thru was nice and chill. Loved that they had the sign saying that your food gets made when you order it, so at least you know you'll wait a bit to get your "made-on-the-spot" burger. Thanks for the heads up. I liked that.

I have been coming here since I was in high school at Woods Cross High and it never disappointed. It is a family-run joint with excellent quality. I live in Arizona now but I never miss a chance to swing by when I'm in town. Get the Best Burger and have them add pastrami on it - it's money. Obviously you're in Utah, but the fry sauce here is better than your average mix :) I'd give it 5 stars, but the appearance and cleanliness could be better as well as their amount of beverage choices.

Been going here for years and always a great stop! Typically get the bacon cheeseburger combo. Really like the fries here and their fry sauce is delicious. They also have a really good chicken teriyaki sandwich. Ice cream cones and shakes are also good. Great local spot.

Best burger is the best burger in Davis County and easily rivals SLCs best, such as Lucky 13, Crown Burger. That five stars is based on a large, very moist, hard to put down and pick up in the same tidy condition type burger that I love. It's dripping from the get-go unlike a Tony Burger or Smash Burger. Too much grease for a lot of ladies that like things immaculate. It you like the added zing pastrami adds to a burger, thick cut fries and not a lot of hipster new age fuss then Best Burger is the bomb!!!

The food here was good buy the atmosphere is terrible. Old decor and pink paint, also the tables and chairs are a little rough. In other words get it to go.

We pulled into SLC and checked into our hotel. I pulled out my trusty Yelp and was craving a burger. I saw Best competitor but the bike was acting up so I opted for Best Burger with was closer. I am glad that I did. I got a burger with Pastrami on it and it was very very good. Fries and some of the best onions rings that I have had for a while. Yes, this place appears dirty, but unless you are catering your wedding from this place or having your 50th anniversary from here the don't worry about it. Its a burger joint and a good one!!!!

Great mom and pop place! Flame broiled burgers, excellent fries and a uniquely delicious fry sauce! Drinks are small but over all awesome!

Once you get past the pink walls (and ceiling) and generally outdated feel you find best burger offers a good alternative to the sketchy 16 yr old cooks next door. I got the mushroom burger combo; the burger was ok, nothing special but the fries and fry sauce were surprisingly good. Fries were thick and crunchy and the fry sauce had a barbecue taste that was perfect. Bathroom was dirty however so 3 stars. I'll definitely be back for the fries though.

I love best burger. Their "best burger" has bacon and mushrooms on it, which is the perfect burger if you ask me! The fries and fry sauce are delish. Service is a little slow which is to be expected for fresh food. I like going there because I is a small local business and the food is great. Employees have always been nice and helpful.

Pretty Good Burger would be a more accurate name for this place:) I ordered the Best Burger. The burger was a little overcooked for my taste, but was still pretty good. There was only one employee, so the orders got backed up pretty quickly. Oh yeah...the fry sauce was delicious!

Close, convenient...walkable from my hotel. Yelper reviews are good...lets give them a try. Nice little place that could use a little elbow grease to clean up the place...and maybe replace the missing stools. Oh, and like the others have mentioned...yes the walls & ceiling are in fact a bright pink. I decided to go with take-out...so, I tried the chili burger, chili fries...and a pastrami sandwich. Order was ready pretty quickly. Walked back to the hotel, sit down, open the bag...the pastrami sandwich is missing. I walk back, explain that the sandwich is missing...hesitantly they decide to cook "another" pastrami sandwich...listen, it wasn't in my bag...honest. All said and done the meal was okay...I wasn't to excited over the chili fries...and I really don't mind walking back to the restaurant for that missing sandwich.

Flame broiled burgers, good fries, and pretty good fry sauce. This is your typical one-off mom and pop type of burger joint. The "Best Burger" is bacon mushroom and Swiss cheese on a toasted bun with lettuce, onion, pickles, mayo, & sauce. Made to order so not as quick as the Wendy's next door but slightly better. Update: My experience wasn't shared by my fellow guests who both had overcooked and tasteless burgers. Going with 2.5 stars as the average.

Meh. It's a burger. Nothing special. Not terrible, not great.

Chicken nuggets there are pretty standard blah, but the burger. Oh the burgers are oh so good. When put into the perspective of the Crown Burger, Astro Burger, Apollo Burger chains in Utah, this one is the best of the bunch. Out of the way, difficult to find, HORRIBLE outside presentation and I haven't gone inside to take a look at cleaniliness, but for now.. I dont' want to know, burgers are good!

I love supporting a little local place like this. Great burgers, fries & onion rings, and my all-time favorite fry sauce in the great state of Utah. A but hard to find, kinda out of date and a bumpy parking lot, and it's not usually very busy. Is it really the best burger? I don't know, but it sure is pretty good, so you should come and decide for yourself. It's at least an 8 out of 10 compared to similar places. And I'll be honest, I like the nice guy that runs the place and hope Best Burger sticks around for a long time.

I tried this place for the first time and was very disappointed. I ordered a mushroom burger and fries (total $7.something cents). The fries were very hard, dried and had no flavor. I was optimistic about the burger but was very fooled to bite into a patty that I could tell was frozen...The only good thing about this burger was the mushrooms, I ended up throwing the whole thing away. Not what I expected from a place called "Best Burger", it's far from it. Go next door to Wendy's instead.

A fantastic cheese burger. We ate at Johnny Rockets a couple days ago and this burger blew that one away. The atmosphere needs some work. But the service was quick and the food was very delicious! I'll definitely be going back, but getting it to go.

Originally, I had in mind looking around for a 5 Guys as I ain't gonna lie; I had me a little cravin' goin' on, see? Anyway, nothing doing on one of those close and I was going to be in Rose Park anyway and I stumbled on the name of this place during a Google search. I had exactly zero restaurants in either North Salt Lake or Bountiful and figuring that it might be handy to start researching those, I made the extra drive up to Exit 315 (2600 S. Bountiful, depending on which side of the street you're on, I guess) and hit this place. Traffic in that area is really a mess and despite the restaurant itself being somewhat dead (thankfully), it still was a time-consuming process. I can forgive this, as 5 Guys also cooks to order and that was what I had in mind originally. The exterior looks like a dive and going in, it's clear this is a very bare bones operation, almost throwback in terms of decor. I wouldn't say it looked unclean or anything, but the wide open section going directly into the kitchen I could have done without and sort of points up how dated the look is. It definitely could use some substantial updating, which isn't really offensive or prominent to figure one way or another in things, just bears mentioning. The interior is very small, though, which makes staying there somewhat in question. I didn't have time, but even if I did, I probably wouldn't have considered it. The service was fantastic, though, with everyone very friendly and laid back. I had the Best Burger, as it had mushrooms, Swiss and bacon, so no way I couldn't. It was also the closest I could find to my usual at 5 Guys. I skipped the fries, though they looked fantastic and they had nothing I could tolerate drinking, so I skipped that also. For all of that, as soon as I bit into the burger, what was probably a 3 star experience quickly slipped into a 4. The burger was cooked perfectly, with a nice bit of char and the taste meld with the mushrooms, bacon and cheese almost made me forget 5 Guys...almost. Truth be told, I would still have preferred 5 Guys, if only because they tend to have Coke Zero fountains, but that aside, the burgers were pretty equal, which is saying a lot for me. I would not intentionally drive out of my way to go here again, but I would have zero complaints about going there again and no qualms about stopping if I was in the area...and already had a drink. Definitely worth a stop if you're in the area and like burgers, unquestionably. Maybe it's not ultimately the overall best burger, but it is a damn fine one.

Best place to get a burger, we like to support the small business instead of going to the regular fast food chains. We have been there 2 or 3 times so far and the good has always been delicious and the service is phenomenal. The place is old but has character, I love the pink walls. Support the little guys and go here, their food is sooo good!!

Ordered a combo burger and when I bit into it, there was a piece of cardboard. The owner was very nice, and it tasted "decent" for a fast food joint, but the piece of cardboard is a deal breaker.

A solid burger joint. Pastrami and the best burgers are their forte, but hot dogs and shakes should not be snubbed either. My one complaint lies with the service. I waited twenty minutes for a single burger. I was disappointed, and I doubt I'll return to their woods cross location for this reason.

These really could be The Best Burgers (except for the ones I grill up of course). Huge bacon and mushrooms, it really is great. The fries and great and the fry sauce is even better. They do make everything fresh while you are there so it definitely isn't fast and the building definitely isn't nice and half the time the people aren't even nice but the food is off the hook!

Best Burger is a little joint in North Salt Lake that's pinned between a Taco Time and a Wendy's. On my way to a meeting, I was short on time and short on fuel, and fast food was all I could see...until I rounded the building and saw Best Burger. And who wouldn't want to eat the "best" burger? (even if the joint does look like it was built during the Nixon Administration) Two observations, then: 1. I'm on diet, and that means no more fries, less bacon and onion rings (among other things), and fewer burgers. In general, fewer things that are naturally delicious. So this meal was "just" a burger. 2. I had to wait for a really long time to get a simple burger. Never fear, though, the wait was mostly worth it. Sporting a sign that proclaims that all burgers are made after the order is taken (in contrast to the pre-made and frozen patty that has made Mickey D's famous), truly, they can stand by this assertion. I sat in a drive-thru lane for at least seven minutes for my simple "no bacon, no onion rings, no nothing but burger" burger. The verdict? I'd give it a 6 out of 10, which ain't too shabby, but definitely isn't the "best" burger. It's a patty of one-third a pound of beef, cooked slightly medium, topped with fresh ingredients, and a spongy, tasty bun. I liked it. But it wasn't that good. Will I be back? Likely. But not until my diet is over and I can add some of the toppings that I've since heard make Best Burger the best burger.

I'm with that Dale guy. The place is grimmy, somewhat overpriced, and the food is awfully greasy. On the positive: - Their Best Burger needs to be tried. Mushrooms make the burger. - Their fry sauce is good and original... BBQ sauce I think. - They make a good lime ricky

Great charcoal grilled burgers and good fries. I really want to like this place. Problem is it looks like they clean it once a week. If you go, use the drive through and you won't have to see how dirty the tile inside is, or how sticky the tables are. This place needs a steam cleaning. I have been there several times and still like their burgers. The owners are very friendly and speak some english so I keep going, but I wish their idea of clean was more like mine. I will still go occasionally, when I'm dying for a good true grilled burger. (or when the line to Wendys is too long next door).

Best burger lives up to the name for sure. The mushroom bacon burger is top notch. Make sure you get plenty of fry sauce. The food takes a few minutes because it's made to order. The shakes are good too.
